Overview
RQI Circuit 2023
The RQI Circuit consists of local conferences organized by ISRQI the International Society of Relativistic Quantum Information (RQI) in partnership with local RQI hubs. Our RQI hub comprises the corresponding researchers in the region Hannover/Braunschweig/Bremen under the connecting platform of the Cluster of Excellence QuantumFrontiers and the collaborative research center TerraQ. The other RQI hubs that are part of the RQI Circuit are:
- University of Waterloo, Perimeter Institute and Institute of Quantum Computing, Canada
- The University of Nottingham, UK
- IQOQI – Vienna, Austria
- NORDITA and Stockholm University, Sweden
- RMIT University and Macquarie University, Australia
Each RQI hub hosts a one-day conference featuring local speakers for local researchers and interested students. The sessions are also streamed live, recorded, and will be accessible on the ISRQI YouTube channel.
Goal
The aim of the conference is to showcase local research topics and foster connections among scientists within the local community and from across the globe. Additionally, a key focus is on informing young researchers and interested students about the opportunities our RQI hub and the local initiatives like QuantumFrontiers and TerraQ offer for launching their careers in RQI and related research topics.
ISRQI
The International Society for Relativistic Quantum Information (ISRQI) provides a platform for inter-disciplinary research on the interface of relativity, gravity and quantum theory, involving modern concepts of information theory. The goal is to address fundamental questions, such as how quantum theory and gravity work together. Special emphasis is placed on possible experimental verification. ISRQI has a special concern for young people entering the field.
